AFC Liverpool head up to Blackpool this Saturday to take on Squires Gate in the First Qualifying Round of the Carlsberg FA Vase.

The two sides have already met this season, in the FA Cup, when tomorrow’s hosts came out victorious with a 3-0 win at the Arriva Stadium at the beginning of last month. Since then they’ve progressed further in the world’s oldest cup competition with a 3-2 win against Evo-Stik First Division North side New Mills and have suffered just one defeat this season from eight games.

Paul Moore’s side will be looking to put a disappointing week behind them after defeats to both Abbey Hey and Runcorn Linnets in the league.
